Marc Coma, Nani Roma, Laia Sanz and Jordi Arcarons are already in Buenos Aires, waiting for the new edition of the Dakar Rally to start on 1 January. This Saturday, 1 January, a new edition of the biggest adventure in the world of motor racing will get underway, the Dakar 2011. Year after year, this rally has magnified its legendary status and that of the riders and drivers who dare to take part in it. For the third time in a row, the race will go through Argentina and Chile and the Repsol riders and drivers are once again among the leading players. Marc Coma, Laia Sanz and Jordi Arcarons in moto and Nani Roma in the car class will fight to reach Buenos Aires on 16 January after covering the 9,500 kilometres that make up the race, 5000 of them timed.Since he burst into the elite in the world of raid, Marc Coma has become, through his own merits, one of the references in the moto class. His wins in the 2006 and 2009 editions and his recent victory in the 2010 World Championship – for the fourth time in his career – make the Repsol rider the centre of attention. In an edition marked by a change to the regulations, which limits engines to 450cc, it will be vital not to make any riding or navigation mistakes in order to aspire to victory. In this respect, Coma's experience will be one of his main weapons. In the saddle of the KTM 450cc, developed over the last few months, his biggest rival on the track will be, as in previous editions, Cyril Després, as well as riders like "Chaleco" López (Aprilia), David Casteu (Sherco), his old companion Jordi Viladoms or Helder Rodrigues (Yamaha).Along with him, the spotlight will also be on Laia Sanz, who will make her debut in this edition. The multiple World Trial Champion will take part in the legendary raid rally for the first time and to do this, she has been preparing thoroughly over the last few months in the saddle of a Honda. The aim of this Repsol rider is to finish the race, complete all the stages and get as much experience as possible navigating the South American tracks and deserts. An adventure in which she will have the invaluable support of Jordi Arcarons, who will be back in the saddle of a bike seven years after he last participated in order to accompany the young rookie. He will do so at 48 years old and with 16 editions as a rider and another 6 as manager of the Repsol KTM team under his belt, in which he achieved three victories along with Marc Coma and Nani Roma.Nani Roma will tackle the Dakar 2011 behind the wheel of a Nissan Navara, taking part in his 15th edition since he debuted in the moto class in 1996. With a win in 2004 in the heart of the Repsol KTM team, the Folgueroles (Barcelona) rider switched to four wheels the following year, a class in which the best result he has achieved is third overall, constantly fighting for the win and proving fast over all terrains. With little time to adapt to his new car, this year, the Repsol driver has set himself the goal of finishing among the top five, although he does not dismiss surprising and showing a touch of his talent on the dunes and tracks of the Dakar, a race that he knows perfectly.Marc Coma"We are approaching the race with a lot of determination and energy, so I hope we can reap the benefits of all of the effort we have put in throughout the season. The new regulations – as regards unifying the cylinder capacity and navigation – will make the rally a very interesting challenge for all riders because there will be more equality among the different makes taking part and the differences between riders will be significantly reduced. The navigation, under the new regulations, will make things even more complicated for everyone and I think that final success will lie in being extremely consistent and not making the slightest mistake. We have done around 50,000 kilometres in order to develop the new KTM, focusing on reliability, without neglecting speed. The bike has proved to be very fast and consistent, so I hope that we can celebrate many successes together".Nani Roma"To tackle a rally like the Dakar it is vital to have a good car and to be in a solid team, and that is our priority. This year, we had a good machine but the structure failed and for this reason, I initially renounced taking part. The last minute agreement with Overdrive could seem hasty but if I'm here, it's because it is a solid team, with good technicians and a reliable and competitive car. We must be honest with ourselves and understand that we cannot aim to go out and compete against rivals that have been preparing the Dakar all year from the outset. I think that we can do well, that we can surprise and I'm sure that we will be among the top five but we cannot deceive ourselves and think that we can win so easily. What I can say is that both myself and the team will give it our all. The correct approach is to take it step by step, making the most of the first few days to adapt to the vehicle and compete in the race without obsessing over the result. As the stages pass, we'll see where we can be. It is a car with a similar performance to a WRC, with a very balanced weight distribution, which allows you to control the inertias very well and that will help me to adapt more rapidly".Laia Sanz"Taking part in the Dakar has been my dream since I was very little. For years, whenever I bumped into Jordi [Arcarons], I told him that I would love to race it one day and it seems that the day has come. I've been competing in trial for many years and this is an incentive and a new challenge. I think that doing new things can be very good for me. However, you are never sufficiently prepared for a challenge like this and for that reason, we have been working hard and now I'm focused on this challenge. My aim is to finish because it is a very tough race and I don't have the experience. At the moment, I'm not thinking about any result other than finishing all the stages and preparing for future editions. The navigation is a completely new aspect that I have had to learn. Jordi [Arcarons] designed a comprehensive training plan and I hope its results will be seen in the race".Jordi Arcarons"Laia is a very talented and strong sports person, as well as very competitive. So far this year, she has progressed very rapidly and when I see her on the bike, I see a future champion in the ladies category but also a girl who in the very near future could compete with the boys. My job consists of training Laia and advising her so that she can compete with good race management and strategy. The best way to do this is to be with her in the competition and therefore, I decided to get back on the bike and return to active competition. After fifteen editions of the Dakar in moto, another in cars and six as manager, now is the time to take on a new role as Laia's shield. My mission will be to go behind her and check if she has passed at each checkpoint or be on hand to help if she has any problems. This rules out me doing my own race. That is not the aim: I'm only going to help Laia to fulfil her dream; although that does not mean that I'm not dyi ng to tackle a navigation stage, which is what I do best. I was also very motivated to take part in the rally since it moved to Argentina and Chile and this will be a very good way of doing so".

The 33rd Dakar Rally draws ever closer and the 2011 edition of the historic and daunting event will begin in Buenos Aires on new year's day with Yamaha hopeful of further good results in the motorcycling category thanks to the excellent support of Yamaha Motor France and their potent Team Yamaha Racing France Ipone. For the third year in a row the Dakar will remain in South America. The two week contest covering more than 9000km starting from the Argentine capital crossing the Andes into Chile, the longest country in the world, through the Atacama desert and traversing a wide range of topography and climates. Over 180 bikes and 30 quads fill an entry list that sees more than 430 participants from 51 different countries set to attempt the distance. The competitors have already sailed from Le Harve to Argentina and will undergo technical control on the last two days of the year.In Team Yamaha Racing France Ipone colours will be recent Rally of Morocco runner-up Helder Rodrigues, Spaniard Jordi Viladoms, France's Olivier Pain and David Barrot filling an important supporting role. Hopes are high for Portugal's Rodrigues who was 4th overall in the rally in 2010 and in currently in decent form on the adapted Yamaha WR450F. 31 year old Rodrigues – 2010 European Enduro Champion no less - was 5th in the '09 Dakar and breached the top four ten months ago so is now optimistic of reaching the final podium in one of the toughest rallies in the world. To add to his pedigree the rider has not finished off the podium in the four major international events he has contested in 2010. The motorcycle class boasts a full entry with 200 competitors and will use new regulations for the first time limiting all bike sizes to 450cc. This will suit the WR that won the previous 450cc section of the Bikes division in 2004, 2005 and 2007.Viladoms is also buoyant for January 1st and the 30 year old has a best result of 7th at Dakar as well as being a stage winner. "We have a great bike for the Dakar," he recently posted on his Twitter account. "We made a two day test in Morocco recently for the engine and suspension and every time we rode the bike felt better; the team are really motivated!"Pain is one of France's top Enduro riders and finished 9th at last year's Dakar meaning that the French team have three top ten racers in their ranks and enter the meeting as one of the strongest crews on the starting list.Yamaha have a fantastic record in the rally with nine overall victories stretching back from 1979 and six successes thanks to Dakar 'legend' Stephan Peterhansel. Frenchman David Frétigné's first effort in 2004 saw the introduction of the famous '2-Trac' mono WR450F and he won three stages against the might of the twin cylinders. Yamaha now stand an excellent chance of further distinction on this highest of levels for Rally. 4.1 million spectators took to the countryside to watch the 2010 edition and with the Dakar now embedded in South America the following is increasing."We have worked with and developed the WR450F in rallies since 2004," explained Alexandre Kowalski, Marketing Director of Yamaha Motor France. "We have a lot of faith in the light chassis and the reliability of the four-stroke 450cc WR motor which deals aptly with the long and difficult races."Yamaha also will also have a strong presence in the Quad category with the Argentine Patronelli brothers, Marcos and Alejandro, having dominated the competition in 2010 on their Yamaha Raptors. This time the formidable family partnership will count on increased technical back-up from Yamaha Motor Argentina and are clear on their goals. "The support from Yamaha during the rally means we can be more relaxed and organised for the race in 2011," said last year's winner and recent Rally of Pharaons victor Marcos, "we can use the stops for more rest and recuperation and these are two fundamental aspects for the Dakar. The Raptor is a powerful and reliable vehicle so we are optimistic."Of the 13 entered females in the 2011 race one will be Yamaha Quad pilot Camelia Liparoti. The former Quad Cross country World Champion will be blogging the experiences of her second Dakar and her endeavours can be seen on www.facebook.com/yamaharacingcom. Helder Rodrigues will also be providing updates online.Concerning the route itself perhaps the hardest part will be the second half in which the intensity of the schedule and distances increase after the rest day on January 8th. In fact the longest Special takes place on the 9th with a mammoth 631km to be covered in the fastest way possible. The latter section of the rally also means the drop down through Chile and the dune and desert landscape more familiar with the veterans of the African Dakar. The Atacama is said to be one of the driest deserts in the world but generally the layout will involve a wide variety of terrain with the routing touching the borders of several countries including Bolivia and Peru; a truly encompassing voyage.

The Dakar 2011 is approaching fast for Team "BMW Motorrad by speedbrain". As bikes and equipment are on their way by sea to South America , the 14-men squad under the guidance of team principal Wolfgang Fischer feels well prepared for their debut appearance in the rally legend. The race gets underway on 1 January 2011 in Buenos Aires. Four riders will compete aboard speedbrain BMW G 450 RR motorcyles, having secured backing from BMW Motorrad and Monster Energy.Rally routinier Frans Verhoeven, who has been developing the bike all throughout 2010, provided major input when it came to building a competitive race weapon based on the BMW 450 X. Being a multiple stage winner, the Dutchman has a lot of experience regarding the Dakar. He´s certainly a top rider to reckon with.David Frétigné unfortunately is a questionmark. The Frenchman injured himself during the Rally Oil Libya Maroc and, although making good progress, will have to see whether doctors give green lights to compete. This may only happen shortly before the start. Meanwhile Jose Helio Gonçalves Rodrigues Filho, also know under the name "Ze Helio", sits in standby mode. The Brazilian already rode for speedbrain in the Rally dos Sertoes. The multi-time rally champ has a lot of knowledge from racing all over South America, he could make an excellent replacement.Paulo Goncalves and Pedro Bianchi Prata from Portugal complete Team "BMW Motorrad by speedbrain". While Bianchi Prata performs sometimes a back up supporting role for his team pilots, Goncalves is an eventual front-runner. The former Motocross ace has shown several times before that he can go pretty quick on a rally bike. Goncalves finished the Portimao-Marrakesch 2010 on the podium. The nearly 6,000 mile long Dakar 2011 does its best to create the thrill and challenges which the previous editions have presented since the beginning in 1979. The Argentina/Chile route consists of everything from sand dunes to mountainous conditions: over the plains of Patagonia, across the Atacama Desert and through the Andes Mountains (all in the heat of summer south of the equator).Team "BMW Motorrad by Speedbrain" is working closely with Team Monster Energy X-Raid, which is entering the Dakar 2011 with BMW X3 and Mini All4 race cars. Both teams are using synergy effects in the logistics. The race ends in Buenos Aires on 16 January.

The definitive cancellation of the second FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship 2011 was announced today. The event was due to take place on 15th January in Brazil.Following the hard-fought event in Genoa (Italy) on 27th November, and after the cancellation of the event forecast for Brazil, the next date for the FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship 2011 will be in Barcelona (Spain) on 6th February 2011.There has been a change to the FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship 2011, approved by the FIM Assembly (International Motorcycling Federation) held in October in Macao (China), with the cancellation of the second event programmed for the competition, due to take place in Brazil on Saturday 15th January 2011.In the end, the local organizer was not able to find sufficient support to guarantee the level of organization required for a World Championship of these characteristics. The race was due to be held in the tourist town of Itapema, in the Santa Caterina region in the south of the country. Therefore the next date for the 2011 FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship will be held in the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona (Spain) on Sunday 6th February 2011.Following the opening event held in Genoa (Italy), the 2011 FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship is headed by the Finnish rider Mika Aloha (HM-Honda), with 51 points, followed by the Swedish rider Joakim Ljunggren (Husaberg) with 45 points and the Polish rider Taddy Blazusiak (KTM), the current champion, with 43. The Spanish rider Iván Cervantes, one of the frontrunners for the title, was not able to win any points in Genoa due to an injury sustained during the training rounds.

Having worked and raced together already for 6 years, Joakim will also fight for victory aboard a Husaberg machine in the two years to come. Having joined the Husaberg Factory Team in 2005 Joakim already had some great successes with the team making him one of the top contenders of the EWC as well as the IEWC nowadays. After winning the Junior World Championship title in 2006 and 2007 he moved up to the E2 senior class where he managed to win the first GP in Sweden straight away by winning day 1 and finishing 2nd on day 2. This was also the first outing of the revolutionary new Husaberg FE 450 in the EWC, so premier victory for bike and rider. Joakim then went on to finish the season in a respectable 6th position and upped the ante in 2009 when he finished on the podium in 3rd position. During the 2010 season Joakim struggled a bit to keep up with the very strong adversary in his class but still managed to conclude the season in 5th position due to his consistency in all conditions.During the 6 years of racing Husaberg Joakim also dominated the Swedish Enduro Championship by amassing 5 strait titles from 2006 to 2010 and winning 24 rounds in a row. Not only that, he also managed to win the infamous Novemberkåsan race 3 times (2007, 2009 and 2010) which only 12 riders have managed to do before in the 95-year history of this event. At the end of 2009 Joakim took his first experience in the Indoor Enduro World Cup and also managed to impress in this young category of Enduro racing. He finished on the podium twice, 3rd in Genoa and 2nd in Vigo, and concluded the Championship in 3rd position as fastest 4-stroke rider aboard the Husaberg FE 390 and fastest Rookie. Two weeks ago at the series opener of the 2011 IEWC series in Genoa Joakim basically started where he left off at the end of the 2010 series and finished the event in 2nd place, scoring his first race victory in the first final of the night, this time aboard the new Husaberg TE 300 2-stroke machine.Especially the addition of the new 2-stroke models to the Husaberg line-up made the decision to stay with the team he was so successful with for Joakim very easy. After nine years on 4-strokes he feels that the change to a 2-stroke, not only for the IEWC but also the EWC, will give him the additional motivation and speed to take the next step in his racing career. "I am really looking forward to racing the TE 300 2-stroke in the E3 class of the EWC. I have a very good feeling on the bike and I did a lot of testing already and was faster than on the 4-stroke in all conditions." Joakim explains.Besides the welcome change of bike Joakim will also change his race program for 2011 by participating in the Italian Enduro Championship instead of the Swedish Enduro Championship. "I like racing back home in Sweden and I have a great record over the past 5 years, but I feel that it's time for me to move on in order to progress and get faster. The special tests in Sweden are a lot different than in the EWC, a lot longer and on different soil, so it's a better training for me to race against some of the best riders in the world on tests that are more similar to the ones in the EWC between the World Championship rounds Joakim comments on his decision.Pictures:Joakim Ljunggren (right) and Thomas Gustavsson (Husaberg Factory Team Manager) signing the new contract.

The Finnish rider Mika Ahola (HM-Honda) won the first race in the FIM Indoor World Championship, held in the Palafiera in Genoa (Italy) and watched by 7000 spectators. Three finals, and three different winners on three different motorbike manufacturers. There could have been no better start. Other than Ahola, Joakim Ljunggren (Husaberg) and Tadeusz Blazusiak (KTM) were the winners of the other finals. However, Iván Cervantes, one of the other riders who was expected to win, was not able to compete after suffering an injury during the first time practice of the night. In the training rounds the best time was set by the Italian rider Thomas Oldrati (KTM), followed by Ljunggren and Blazusiak. Fabian Planet (Sherco) and Matti Seistola (Husqvarna) took the next positions. Four different manufacturers in the first five positions! Also surprising was the Brisih rider Jonny Walder, making his debut, in sixth position. The big surprise in the classifying races was, without doubt, the US rider Cody Webb (Beta), who took Pole Position from Oldrati in the first heat. Ljunggren won Group B and the fastest of all was the winner of Group C, Blazusiak, who entered the race after being surprised in the earlier timed events. The first of the finals was intense: a perfect start by Ljunggren and Blazusiak was pushed back to a provisional fourth position, although at the end of the first lap he had managed to be in second. In his own particular "hunt", the Polish KTM rider fell a couple of metres from the end of the third lap and was overtaken by the Finnish Ahola and Matti Seistola (Husavarna). Another fall finally relegated him to ninth position. In the second final, Blazusiak had a good start, but pressure from Mika Ahola, and injuries to his ribs and leg caused him to make a small mistake in the water splash, and Ahola took first position and did not give it up until crossing the finishing line. Taddy finished second and Llunggren third, competing hotly with Oldrati.Blazusiak finally won the third final, making no mistakes and dominating from start to end. The second position was hotly competed for by Oldrati and Ahola, who won the local rider. Ljunggren had to be satisfied with fourth position, which assured him second position in the global classification of the night. The bad news in this first round of the FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship occurred on the opening of the track to the Indoor Enduro riders. In the second lap of the first training heat , Iván Cervantes suffered a pinched lumber nerve which obliged him to withdraw from the race. He was taken by ambulance to the Genoa hospital where he underwent a series of different tests to evaluate the state of his injury and could not therefore take part in the classifying round.Dougie Lampkin was not free from bad luck and also in the second lap broke the crankcase of his Beta. Fortunately the mechanics were able to prepare another bike to continue the event. He didn´t classify for the finals, but in consolation took the prize for the 'Night Race'.QUOTESMika Ahola (FIN, HM-Honda). 1st place"It really has been a surprise to finish first. I didn´t expect to because in the last two years I´ve had bad results and ridden badly. But this CRF 450, which is really 480cc, is almost a motocross bike and I felt really good tonight. I think all of us had a great time with lots of body to body in the races."Joakim Ljunggren (SWE, Husaberg). 2nd place"I started really well in the first race, doing the holeshot, and got into first position. I had no problem in being able to finish winning my first final. My intention was to be there, on the podium, but I surprised myself a little by being in second position. We´ve worked really hard this winter on the new 2 stroke motorbike, and I felt really happy. I think it is better than the four stroke in this kind of races."Taddy Blazusiak (POL, KTM). 3rd place"My race today was affected by a heavy fall in the first final, when I injured my ribs and leg. I don´t know how I carried on, everything hurt, but I managed to finish despite falling again. It was my mistake, and I have to accept it. I took a risk and failed. But considering everything, I think being on the podium is a good result for me. Congratulations to Mika and Joakim for their results and I hope to be able to give 100% in my next race, in Brazil."

Due to the consolidation of Indoor Enduro as a speciality and thanks to the prestigious competition...

Due to the consolidation of Indoor Enduro as a speciality and thanks to the prestigious competition that RPM Racing has promoted over the last two years, the International Motorcycling Federation has decided to give a qualitative change to the World Cup. Thus, from 2011, this competition improves its status and is now considered World Championship. The World Cup has appreciably improved every year over the last three years. The regulations have been standardised, the number of finals improved, as have qualifying events, but the improvement has mainly been seen in the amount of international participation, and the excellent public reception of the event as one of first level, thus generating a huge international press repercussion. In the 2011 FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship there will be five qualifying heats in four countries: Italy, Brazil (TBC), Spain and Portugal. The FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship will open in Genoa (Italy, 27th November), and is predicted to be very open. There will be some new features, both within the regulations and with the riders, who will, no doubt, be providing an even more excting show, if possible, than in previous years. In addition, as last year in Barcelona, the World Indoor Motorcyle Trial Championship will share centre stage with the FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship, allowing the spectators to enjoy a very special double show. The competition format will include only one significant change from the last two years, and on this occasion the starting grid will offer opposite positioning in the second of the three finals. The big favourite this year will doubtless be the current champion, Tadeusz Blazusiak (POL, KTM). Taddy, however, will once again be competing against the 2009 indoor champion Ivan Cervantes (ESP, Gas Gas) who needless to say, will be wanting to recover the top position. The change of motorbike for the Spanish rider will be another motivating factor to win.But these two great riders are not the only ones contending for the title. There are also other Enduros riders who have a shot at victory. For example, the spectacular Antoine Méo (FRA, Husqvarna). The new E1 World Champion, who won in Genoa in 2008, will be wanting to show his amazing skills to his rivals and a public who knows and appreciates good riders. But we cannot forget the four-time Enduro champion Mika Ahola (FIN, Honda), who is classified in fifth position in the 2010 Cup, or the seven-times Trial chamption, Doug Lampkin (GBR, Beta).Joakim Ljunggren (SUE, Husaberg) and Graham Jarvis (GBR, Husaberg), classified in third and fouth positions in the 2010 FIM Indoor Enduro Cup will be demonstrating their prowess on the track, as will the big surprise of last year, the Spanish rider Dani Gibert (ESP, Sherco), a hard act to beat in any heat. Last but not least, the ofher riders who already know what it is to win a final in the Cup; Xavi Galindo (ESP, Husaberg) and Thomas Oldrati (ITA, KTM). Both will be in Genoa.

After an impressive rookie season in Enduro the 26-year old former MX3 World Champion from France joins the Husaberg Factory Team in 2011.After claiming the 2009 MX3 World Championship title Pierre-Alexandre, better known as "Pela", decided to swap his MX machine for an Enduro and, like many MX riders in recent years, give it a go in the Enduro World Championship and the French Enduro Championship. Having ensured Eric Bernard as his team manager and mentor Pela put in an impressive rookie season by winning the French E2 title, scoring 7 podium finishes in the E2 class of the EWC, including his first victory on the final race day of the championship, finishing the E2 class in 4th position and being named "EWC Rookie of the Year 2010".After this proof of his talent Pela's goal was to secure a factory ride for the coming season and Husaberg is happy to announce that its Factory Team was able to reach an agreement with him. Pela will contest the E2 class of the EWC as well as the French E2 Championship and the French Classics aboard a Husaberg FE 450. "We believe that Pela is the perfect addition to our Factory Team as he is still young and very determined to develop. It has always been the philosophy of Husaberg to sign young talents and support them to become champions, like with Joakim Ljunggren and Oriol Mena in recent years, and Pela, as "Rookie of the Year", is perfectly matching this philosophy. We are sure he has the potential to be a future World Champion and we are really happy to welcome him to our team" Husaberg Factory Team Manager Thomas Gustavsson comments. Here's what Pierre-Alexandre Renet has to say about his decision of joining the Husaberg Factory Team: "I had offers from several teams for the next season, which I was happy about, but the decision for Husaberg was quite clear for me right away. After only one year in Enduro I know I still have to learn a lot, so the opportunity to continue working with Eric (Bernard) and the chance to work with Thomas Gustavsson in the future made the decision easy for me.""The Husaberg Factory Team is very professional and their bike is great, too. When I first tested it after the GP of Greece it felt good right away, without even touching the suspension, so after this test I was sure it was the right choice."On his goals for 2011 Pela states: "I'm really happy with my first season in Enduro but I definitely have to further improve my riding, especially in the Extreme tests. I feel that I have already come a long way and am sure I can still get faster with the help of my new team. My goals for 2011 are clearly defending my French E2 title and finishing the EWC on the podium."Of course the engagement of Pela also means a lot to Husaberg France as the general manager, Reinhold Zens, underlines: "I am extremely happy about the fact that we were able to secure the French Enduro Champion Pierre- Alexandre Renet to contest the World and French Enduro Championship for Husaberg next season. Husaberg offers high quality and high technology premium bikes and, with the arrival of the new 2-stroke models, has grown to a full range Enduro brand for those riders who want to be different than the rest.We believe that Pela will be able to fight for the title in the upcoming season and we are convinced that with his Husaberg he will have the right tool to win. For the brand it is excellent to have one of the most charismatic and promising riders in the team."

After the disappointment of missing out on this year's E1 FIM Enduro World Championship title...

After the disappointment of missing out on this year's E1 FIM Enduro World Championship title Frenchman Johnny Aubert (KTM) has returned to his winning ways, taking the E2 class and overall individual victory at the 2010 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE). In addition Aubert has lead the French senior team to yet another Trophy team win.Twice a winner of the E2 FIM Enduro World Championship, in 2008 and 2009, Aubert switched to the smaller E1 class for this season but had to play second best to his compatriot Antoine Meo (Husqvarna). Back on more familiar machinery at the ISDE, Johnny confirmed his liking for the E2 capacity by dominating his class and also finishing the event as the fastest individual performer. With a smile on his face Aubert joked. "It's been easy.""I am really pleased with this week, I have ridden with a good level and have had no problems. After the World championship finished I did not ride a bike until I arrived here. Then I just made a ten minute test on the 450 before I began the race.""After not winning the World championship, in my head I came here to win and to end the season in a positive way. My performance has been good, and I have had a good advantage over the other riders, but maybe it would have been a bit different and maybe closer if all the top riders were here.""Overall I have enjoyed the week, maybe days one and two more than days three and four, but also the end of the week was nice too. Maybe I have a good feeling for South America as I also won the E2 class when the ISDE was in Chile in 2007."
